Full Description
An inscribed stone tablet built into the roadside wall on the south side of the A628 apparently commemorates the destruction of a shelter used by a family of tinkers. The inscription reads "Burned down. Two children burnt to death aged 3 and 5 years. August 17th 1858". (1)
