Full Description

A late 19th century OS map shows the area as containing 'Old Shafts (Lead)'. (1) A mine shaft, measuring 1m by 0.5m, covered over with concrete slabs and worked limestone blocks was identified at SK 2810 5710 during survey in 2008. (2)
