Full Description

A mound on the south western flank of Eldon Hill which could possibly be a later prehistoric barrow or alternatively a lead mining hillock. It is marked as an isolated shaft on the 1971 Geological Survey of Great Britain map of the area; it is not shown as on the vein. (1)
