Full Description
A circular limekiln with associated quarry and emptying hollow of a probable late 18th or early 19th century date. As the load of the kiln was not sorted to retrieve the best quality lime (i.e. there is no spoil heap, although this could have been removed) it is probable the product of the kiln was used on the farm fields.
