Type and Period (0)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

A large dam for a now redundant pond, which probably acted as a water source for two large water wheels that ran the pumps and Coalpithole Mine. If this is correct then the pond is originally of an 18th century date. (1)
