Full Description

An elongated pond which is retained internally by drystone walling. It was used by Goytsclough Mill, there are no clear traces of the mill race. The pond is shown on the 1845 tithe map of Taxal and was probably built at the same time as the mill in the 18th or early 19th centuries. (1)
