Full Description

Earthworks consisting mainly of a group of lynchets/stone banks following the contour were surveyed in May 1999. They predate the existing field system and could be later prehistoric, Romano-British or medieval. A Romano-British settlement site is known to have existed a short distance to the north although any earthworks have now been removed [see SMR 8345]. (1)
