Full Description

SK 111 695 (?) Building complex. [Air photograghs - CPE/UK. 2598/4140-1. 16 APR.1948 - indicate possible traces of shrunken village centred at SK 111 696. Now partially built over - see F.21.540/RAF/1559/0330-1. 17 MAR. 1955.]. (1) Minor earthworks indicative of contraction. (2) It is highly likely that part of the boundary bank delimiting Chelmorton's town fields would have crossed this area [see SMR 3816].
