Full Description

Sanderson's map of 1835 shows that Buckhazels Lane originally followed a slightly different route to the west of Moodersley Farm, forming a dogleg before it reached the parish boundary between Kedleston and Kirk Langley. (1) At least part of this former route is still visible as a linear earthwork feature on aerial photographs. (2, 3)
