Full Description
The ancient Allen Lane bisects Wild Park. This is thought to be part of the old route from Belper to Tutbury, but relatively recently has sadly lost its status as a right of way. Along its length, where adjacent field names Castle Moor and Court Close occur, is an interesting but much degraded earthwork [see SMR 23302]. (1)
