Full Description

SK 119 696 : Under Low and Upper Low, near Chelmorton, listed as barrows. (1) Not located. (2). These sites were postulated on field-name evidence only. Both names probably relate to SMR 3820, which lies near the boundary between the two fields. Bateman probably got the name from a local informant without realising the correspondence. (3)
