At the crossroads of Church Broughton Road and Breach Lane are the remains of a 17th century timber framed barn with brick infill, extended in brick at either end. The barn is one of the few older buildings left in Hatton parish. In 1985 it was described as being in reasonable condition. A later addition (undated) to the County Treasure record notes that planning permission had been given for conversion of the L-shaped range into three dwellings. (1)
