There is a Sunday School at this location on the 1st edition OS map. (1) The Congregationalists hold services in a public schoolroom [1891]. (2) The Congregationalists have a chapel in Buxworth [1895]. (3) By the 2nd edition OS map, there is a Congregational Chapel at this location. (4) The building has been extended or replaced by the 3rd edition OS map. (5) The chapel appears to be still in use [2010]. (6)
