A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is located here on the 1st edition OS map. (1)
The Wesleyan Methodists have a small chapel and day school in the hamlet of Coombs; and Church of England service is held monthly on Sunday and each alternate Tuesday in the reading room. (2)
The building appears to now be in use as an infant school, and has been extended [2010]. (3, 4)
