Full Description

A windmill is shown on the Ashover Tithe Map of 1851 and on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880, where it is described as 'Windmill (Corn)'. (1, 2). A circular symbol is shown on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of 1899, but it is not named, suggesting the windmill had gone out of use by that date. (3) Nothing is shown on the 3rd edition. (4)
