Full Description

Aerial photographs taken in 1971 show several areas of earthwork ridge and furrow on the north side of Hilton, around Dale End Lane and to the east of Sutton Lane. (1) Medieval ridge and furrow earthworks were identified at this location on aerial photographs dating to 1999. (2) Recent aerial coverage suggests that at least some of the ridge and furrow survives, possibly in good condition. (3)
