Full Description

Thirteen samples were taken from timbers in the oldest barn in the outbuildings group to the east of Sutton Manor and submitted for tree ring dating. Eleven of these were dated and provided a felling date of c. 1635. However, it is believed that at least some of the timbers in that building have been reused. (1)
