Full Description

The Boot and Shoe is one of the oldest public houses in Whitwell. The landlord in 1753 was J Brownhill. Although the style has changed, bay windows have always been a feature of the building. Originally a stone-walled garden separated the building from a cobblestoned pavement and the main road. (1)
