Full Description

There is a Methodist Chapel situated here on the 1st edition OS map. (1) The Primitive Methodists erected a new chapel in 1875 at a cost of £500, to supersede one built in 1836, which is now [1895] used as a Sunday School (see SMR 8916). (2) The building is labelled as a church on modern OS mapping [2011]. (3)
