Full Description

A General Cemetery, under the management of a Burial Board, situated at the North End, was formed in 1854, and consecrated in 1856. It occupies about three acres of ground, and has two neat chapels, one for the Church and the other for the Dissenters. (1) There is an Episcopal Chapel situated here on the 1st edition OS map. (2) It no longer appears to be standing on modern OS mapping, but the site remains undeveloped [2011]. (3)
