Full Description

There is a United Methodist Free Chapel situated here on the 1st edition OS map. (1) The United Methodist Free Chapel at South Wingfield is an ornate structure that was erected in 1862 at a cost of £300. The east window, representing the Good Shepherd, is a memorial of Mr Samuel Hunt and Bridget his wife. (2) It appears to have since been extended and is still in use as a place of worship [2011]. (3)
