Full Description

The General Baptists at Shottle hold religious services in a room belonging to Mr Joseph Malin. (1) There is a Baptist Chapel situated here on the 2nd edition OS map that was not present on the 1st edition. (2-3) The Baptists at Shottle have a neat little chapel, erected in 1882, previous to which time they held their services in the upper room of an outhouse on Sycamore Farm. It is comfortably furnished and well lighted. (4) The building is still standing, but it's current use is not certain [2011]. (5-6)
