Full Description

Whaley Bridge Primary School was built in 1909 to a design by George Henry Widdows. It had a 'T'-plan, with a central hall linking classroom wings, and was constructed of random rubble gritstone walls and red-tiled roofs. There was a detached cookery block. There have been some modern extensions, mostly sympathetic. (1)
