Full Description

Metal milepost, triangular in section, with 'DERBY / 5 / MILES' on one side and 'SWARKE / STONE / ½ / MILE' on another. In 1979 the top of the milepost was missing. A post-it note attached to the County Treasure record states 'Currently (Feb 2005) removed by the owner of the nearby cottage - land under dispute'. (1)
