Full Description

Overlane Farm farmhouse, Over Lane, Hazelwood, originally a mid-18th century building. Previously Grade II Listed as: 'Farmhouse. Mid-C18, with early C19 alterations and additions. Coursed rubble gritstone, with off-centre ridge stack and a plain tiled roof. Two storeys, with two windows to first floor, three windows to second floor, with sashes and case- ments below plain lintels. One first floor window with glazing bar casements with central opening light. Plain central doorway beneath plain lintel. At north end, weatherboarded front to first floor and ground floor front part used as open fronted farm shelter. South west end bay three storey with slate roof and end chimney. Second floor opening with glazing bars and central opening light, first floor with C19 glazing bar sash, ground floor with 2-light opening with square section mullion and chamfered jambs. Window and plain doorway to south have plain lintels. Listing NGR: SK3231046551.'
