Full Description

There is a United Methodist Free Chapel situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. (1) The United Methodist Free Church at Heanor was built in 1876 at a cost of £1,300. It is a neat two-storey building comprising chapel and school. It will accommodate 350 worshippers. (2) The chapel has since been demolished [2011]. The site remains undeveloped. (3)
