Full Description

Milestone on the road between Buxton and Ashbourne, to the south-east of Brierlow Bar. In June 2001 the inscription was recorded as indecipherable. (1) The 1st ed. 25" OS map of c. 1880 marks the milestone, and gives distances as Buxton 3, Ashbourne 17, London 155. (2)
