Full Description

The Primitive Methodists have a chapel in Stanley [1857]. (1) There is a Primitive Methodist Chapel situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. It appears to have been rebuilt by the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900. (2-3) The Primitive Methodists have a chapel at Stanley Common that was rebuilt in 1889. (4) The chapel has since been demolished and the site has been redeveloped [2011]. (5-6)
