Full Description
A milestone stands on the north side of Hognaston Winn, at approx. SK 225509. One side reads 'TO / ASHBOURN / 4 / MILES'; the other 'TO / ALFRETON / 15 / MILES / WIRKSWORTH / 5 / MILES'. The road was originally run by the Oakerthorpe and Ashbourne Turnpike Trust. (1)
