Full Description

Cast iron finger post opposite the Bridge Inn, Curbar, possibly manufactured by Brown of Matlock in c. 1937. The post is painted in black and white horizontal stripes, and is surmounted by a ball. It has two arms, white with black lettering, one reading 'BASLOW 1½ / CHESTERFIELD 10½', with A623 at the end of the arm, the other reading 'CURBAR VILLAGE'. (1)
