Monument record MDR12952 - Finger post, junction of Dove Street, Mill Lane and Norbury Hollow, Norbury and Roston

Cast iron finger post at the Mill Lane junction, Norbury. It is painted in horizontal black and white stripes, surmounted by a ball, and has three arms which end in a point and are painted white with black lettering. One reads 'B 5033 ELLASTONE ¾', another reads 'ASHBOURNE 4¾ / SUDBURY 6¼ ' followed by 'B5033', while the third reads 'ROSTON / DOVERIDGE'. 'DCC / 1940' is on the side of the post. (1)
