Full Description

Cast iron finger post at the Mill Lane junction, Norbury. It is painted in horizontal black and white stripes, surmounted by a ball, and has three arms which end in a point and are painted white with black lettering. One reads 'B 5033 ELLASTONE ¾', another reads 'ASHBOURNE 4¾ / SUDBURY 6¼ ' followed by 'B5033', while the third reads 'ROSTON / DOVERIDGE'. 'DCC / 1940' is on the side of the post. (1)
