Full Description
The Methodist Chapel at Sandiacre was erected in 1826 [see SMR 25119]. (1)
A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. It appears to have superseded the building mentioned by White and co. in 1857. (2)
The 1826 Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was replaced in 1878 by a chapel at the junction of Church Street and Lenton Street. This chapel was demolished in the early 1970s, and houses were built on the site. (3)
