Full Description

There is a chapel situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. (1) It appears to have fallen out of use as a chapel by the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 19th century. (2) In 2006, this former chapel was a rather dilapidated and boarded up building. It has a sign over the window stating 'Fancy Dress Hire'. It was built as a chapel in 1827, and later became Sandiacre's moving picture house. (3)
