Full Description

The Swedenborgian chapel was opened in 1825, and will accommodate 120 persons. (1) There is a chapel situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. (2) The New Jerusalem Chapel was built in 1863. The Swedenborgians had a chapel here formerly. (3) There is a New Church (Swedenborgian) in Derby Road. It was erected in 1864 in the Gothic style and accommodates 200 people. (4) The building is no longer in use as a place of worship [2011]. It appears to have been converted in to residential units.
