Full Description

There is a Wesleyan Methodist Chapel situated here on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900 that is not present on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. It appears to supersede an earlier chapel to the east (see SMR 28140). (1-2) The Wesleyans erected a handsome new chapel in Woodville in 1894. (3) The chapel has since been demolished and a new Methodist Chapel has been built adjacent to the site [2011]. (4)
