Full Description

The Wesleyan Methodists have a place of worship at Linton [written in 1857]. (1) There is a Wesleyan Methodist Chapel situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. (2) The Wesleyans have had a chapel at Linton since 1799. The present edifice was built in 1873, at a cost of £600, and will seat 300. (3) The chapel remains in use in the early 20th century. (4-5) The chapel appears to have since been demolished [2011]. (6)
