Full Description

There is a small Primitive Methodist Chapel situated here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880 and the 2nd Edition 25" OS map of c. 1900. By the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 20th century, the chapel has either been enlarged, or demolished and replaced with a larger chapel. (1-3) The Primitive Methodists have a chapel on Wilmot Road [written in 1895]. (4) The building is still extant, although the ground floor windows are boarded up and it no longer appears to be in use as a place of worship [2011]. (5-6)
