Full Description
During a site visit on February 10 2012, Clive Hart identified a ploughed-out Bronze Age barrow in the field immediately to the west of Ashley House, Ashbourne, at c. SK 172464. The barrow is approximately 15m in circumference and is now only about 10 to 15 cm above the field level. A Bronze Age axe head had been found in this field in 2010. (1)
