Full Description
Formerly the Duke of Rutland's estate office. It was built by W Dymcot Pratt of Nottingham in 1898. (1)
The building is still extant and appears to be in residential use [2012]. (2)
The Rutland Estate Office, designed by William Dymock Pratt and built in 1898. The office is built of red brick beneath a concrete tile roof. The front elevation is two storeys tall. There is a central stone porch with a fourcentred arch, flanked by cross casements with trefoil heads and hoodmoulds. Above are three similar, smaller windows. William Dymock Pratt is considered to be a locally important architect. His works are generally considered to have special architectural interest. (3)
