Full Description

There is a boundary post located here on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c. 1880. (1) A boundary post dated to 1879. It is two feet high and is made of cast iron. It has three faces, with 'West Hallam', 'Ilkeston' and '1879' on each of the faces. (2) The boundary post is still visible on Google Maps Street View [2012]. (3)
