Full Description

'Barley sugar' twisted iron columns supporting arcades (one of glass) over shop fronts on Station Road. (1) The shop buildings do not appear on the 2nd edition 25" OS map of c. 1900, but are present on the 3rd edition 25" OS map of the early 20th century. (2-3) The shop fronts are still extant [2012]. (4)
