Full Description
There was a Primitive Methodist chapel at Woolley Moor built of stone and slate. A tablet above the south entrance was dated 1841 with initials JW. (1)
A chapel is situated near Woolley on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (2)
This building is still extant, with possible alterations, and has been converted into a residence. It has retained the chapel noticeboard on an outside wall. (3)
