There is a Methodist Chapel (United Free) situated in Shirland on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (1)
The 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900 shows this building to have been taken over by the Primitive Methodists. (2)
Modern maps show this building to have been demolished. (3)
