There is a chapel situated here in Danesmoor on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (1)
The 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900 shows this building to be a Bethel (Wesleyan) Chapel. (2)
The 3rd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of the early 20th century shows this building to be a United Methodist Chapel with a Sunday School to the rear. (3)
Modern maps show this building is still extant but has been converted into an amateur boxing club, with a possible extension to the rear. (4)
