Full Description
According to Kelly's Directory, there was a Primitive Methodist chapel at Grassmoor, erected in 1898, at a cost of £1,700, and seating 350 persons. (1)
There is a Primitive Methodist Chapel, with a School near by, possibly the adjoining building, situated in Grassmoor on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900, presumably that referred to by Kelly in 1912. (2)
The 3rd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map shows this building as having been converted into a cinema. (3)
Modern maps show this building to have been demolished and replaced by a residence. (4)
