Full Description
According to White's Directory, the Wesleyan Methodist chapel in Unstone was a neat stone building, erected in 1847, which will seat about 100 persons. (1)
According to Kelly's Directory, the Wesleyan chapel at Unstone was enlarged in 1904, with 300 sittings. (2)
There is a Wesleyan Methodist chapel situated in Unstone on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880, presumably that referred to by White in 1857. (3)
Modern maps show this building is still extant, but has been converted in to a residence. There is a date stone on the north gable wall, partially covered by vegetation but '1847' is showing. (4)
