Full Description

There is a Primitive Methodist Chapel situated in New Brimington on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1990, not shown on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (1) Modern maps show this building is still extant, called Mount Tabor Methodist Chapel, with a large extension to the rear. There is a date stone above the door stating 'Mount Tabor Primitive Methodist Chapel 1881'. (2)
