Full Description

Cast iron pump with stone trough, situated in a niche in the wall on Church Street. Used during May/June for well dressing. (1). One of three pumps in Ashford. The niche is unroofed pebble limestone some gritstone dressings c. 2m high. The trough has a complete iron grille-cover. (2).
