Full Description
According to Kelly's Directory, the Congregational chapel at Whittington Moor was erected in 1878, seating 300. (1)
There is a Congregational chapel situated at Whittington Moor on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900, presumably that referred to by Kelly in 1912, not shown on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (2)
Modern maps show this building is no longer extant, the site has been developed and is underneath the entrance to a supermarket. (3)
