Full Description

According to White's Directory, the Primitive Methodist chapel in Hasland, erected in 1842, is a neat stone building which will seat 150 persons, in connection with which is a day school where about 30 children attend. (1) There is a chapel situated in Hasland on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880, presumably that referred to by White in 1857. (2) The 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1900 shows a Sunday School attached to the chapel. (3) Modern maps show this building is no longer extant. (4)
